The Nature of the Problem
The first four of the Ten Commandments put the worshipper on notice that the true God who is unwilling to share His glory with any other so-called “God” (Exodus 20:1-11, Deuteronomy 4:2; 12:32; Proverbs 30:5, 6; Matthew 4:4; Revelation 22:18, 19). Being forewarned is being fore-armed. Understanding this is very important.

not accept just anything and everything that has the name of God and/or Jesus Christ attached to it ! especially man-made traditions (see Matthew 7:21-23; 24:4, 5; 2 Corinthians 6:14-18; 11:4, 13-15; and Galatians 1:6-12).
Sadly, through the centuries, “Christendom” has mixed and
mingled pagan religious and philosophical concepts with scriptural
revelation to compose what they commonly teach as “Christianity”. The
fact that such has been generally accepted and generally successful
does not automatically equate it with being God’s will or truth (1
