In a world full of uncer- tainties, one thing holds true. God is sovereign over all of the earth and the creatures therein. For me, that knowl- edge brings peace. It means that no matter what is taking place around me or within me, I know that I can trust Him fully as my provision. I know that He is ever watch- ful and always concerned about every aspect of my well-being. He loves me eternally and unconditionally, and that means I can rest. I am free from inner fears and outward fears because I can submit myself to Him daily. He tells me to cast my cares upon Him, because He cares for me, and when I do that I am released from worry and anxiety.
Before I understood Him, I was subject to my own thought processes and unre- generate emotions. I say ‘un- regenerate’ because before I understood Him I had no ability to think as He does. The ‘mind of Christ’ is not just an euphemistic phrase, but a reality that He gifts us with as we renew our minds by reading His Word and al- lowing it to replace our own ideas borne out of our own experiences. Experiences will lie to us, will tell us that God is not real, or He is not good, or He doesn't care. Faith comes by hearing the
Word, and as we hear (read), and meditate on what we read, we discover what has been hidden in plain sight - His sovereignty covers us in our ignorance. He carefully watches over us as He directs us toward Him- self. He is long-suffering and patient and kind, and He does not grow weary be-
cause He has no false ex- pectations regarding any of us. He knows every choice we will ever make, and He weaves Himself into the fab- ric of our lives until the things
that were meant for our de- struction are somehow turned for our ultimate good. How He does it seems a mystery until we find the key.
The key is the faith that grows within our spirit man as we educate ourselves. He promises that if we seek Him with our whole heart He WILL be found of us. He is not hiding maliciously, but He is waiting for our desire to

truly be set upon finding Him, on discovering His love for us.
Itishardforsomeofusto come to Him in this way when people and life have been hard and uncaring, be- cause we have been taught that no one can be trusted and no one really cares, or that life itself is against us. That is why it is so very im- portant to turn the question over to Him and let Him show Himself to us per- sonally and individually. When we open that door He will burst in, full of life and love, and dimensions of abundance will come to us through Him in ways that we cannot comprehend other-
