MOULTRIE, GA – Jason Larry May, 48, of Moultrie, stepped into eternity and into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, July 30, 2024.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2024, in the Chapel of Baker Funeral Home, with Reverend Stephan Massey and Reverend Warren Gilpin officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Norman Park. David
Griner, Tony Harper, Brian Brown, Dennis Conger, Danny Bolling, and Dusty Porter will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 2, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Born on May 11, 1976, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son
of Larry Emory May and Linda Hamilton May. Jason served Fi and was a proud Calvary Scout in the US Army. Jason found joy C in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. His faith was the fa cornerstone of his life, guiding him in his daily actions and d interactions. He spread love, hope, and compassion wherever he m went, touching countless lives with his words and deeds. As a dedicated husband and loving father, Jason’s love for his family
was evident in every aspect of his life. He was a pillar of strength,
a source of unending support, and a partner in all things. His commitment to his family was unparalleled. He took immense
pride in his son and cherished every moment they spent together. Jason, being an avid outdoorsman, loved sitting by the firepit reminiscing funny stories. Throughout the years, he truly enjoyed riding dirt bikes and 4-wheelers with his son Jesse. In his professional life, he worked as a truck driver for over 25 years and
was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Norman Park.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, William Wesley and Ola Mae Hamilton and Emory and Mary Betty Tillman May; and cousin, Uriah May.
He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Hiers May of Norman Park; son, Jesse Michael May, also of Norman Park; mother and father, Linda Hamilton May and Larry Emory May; brother, Jamie Christopher May of Moultrie; aunt and uncle, Roger and Judy May; mother and father-in-law, Michael and Barbara Hiers of Moultrie; sister-in-law, Marlana and Scott Turner; nieces and nephews, Jameson, Chloe, and Nola Turner;
and several cousins and extended family members. s

MOULTRIE, GA – Esther Lanett White Hamm, 86, of Moultrie passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Colquitt i Regional Senior Center.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 3, 2024, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Clingan officiating. Interment will follow at Leila Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Baker Funeral Home.
Ms. Hamm was born on January 24, 1938, to the late Tom W. White and Nellie Lewis White in Moultrie, Georgia. Mrs. Hamm dedicated many years of her life to working as a seamstress for Ivey’s Manufacturing Company where she eventually became the manager and was of the Nazarene faith.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Walter Hamm; son, Ricky Walter Hamm; daughter, Lisa Denise Hamm; sisters, Betty Manders, Nell Henderson, Pasty Johnson, and Virginia Taylor.
Survivors include her children, David Hamm and wife Milda
of Moultrie, Tony Hamm of Moultrie, and Kathy Hamm Dunn
of Moultrie; brother, Early Watson White and wife Corliss of St
