loved attending China Grove Baptist Church with her “sister from another mother” and best friend of 43 years, Tammy. She truly enjoyed fishing every chance she got as it brought her peace. She loved going out on adventures and taking trips with her mom to the casino. Her family remembers her as a jokester whose smile and laugh were contagious.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to nurses of Regency SouthernCare Hospice Services.
In lieu of flowers, Tracy asked that donations be made to Shriner’s Hospitals for Children.

  RADICAL LIVING By Abigail Wakefield
God's faithfulness to mankind has been estab- lished from of old. In the Gar- den He clothed Adam and Eve with animal skins to cover their nakedness when the glory departed. He had compassion on them even in the midst of their sin. He chose redemption of the people He had made in His own image. He made a path of redemption through the life of Jesus that serves to lead us all back into right re- lationship with Him if we will but bind our feet to it. In other words, if we make a choice to allow His Lordship to over-
the ability to be everywhere in order to be confined to a physical body. He chose to identify with the sufferings of a physical man in order to know from our perspective what it is like to hurt, to be wounded and rejected and spat upon. He was ultimately condemned to death on a cross by the very people He came to save. He came to point us all to an understand- ing of God the Father - to show us life ‘more abundant’ - to teach us how to find joy in the midst of sorrow, and trust in the face of uncer- tainty. He came with the fore- knowledge that He would have to die for our redemp- tion. Legions of angels were at His command - He could have gotten off that cross, but He suffered it, despising the shame, for the joy that lay before Him.
That joy was us. Each one of us that will accept His sacrifice and choose to sub- mit our lives to Him. What do we have otherwise? Vain, empty, hollow lives devoid of true joy. Happiness, sure - we can have moments apart from Him, but true joy is not based on circumstances. True joy comes from the deep abiding presence of Him IN us. It is a feeling of ‘peace that passes under- standing’ even in the worst of times. We have an inner wit- ness to the story of our lives that connects us to eternity, and we know that we are valued and loved uncon- ditionally by the One who created us. That knowledge arms us for any challenge that this broken, fallen world can throw at us. That knowl- edge creates a strength in us

shadow all of our fleshly imaginings of how we can do life without Him. Because we can't. Life is hard sometimes, and all of our planning can- not control the things that can and will go wrong along the journey. We have to have an answer that is bigger than ourselves - larger than our own understanding. That an- swer is Jesus.
Have you ever stopped to think of what it cost Him to make a decision to come to us as Savior? He gave up
