David Royce Hilton
FUNSTON, GA – David “Davey” Hilton passed away on December 6, 2023. Born on February 27, 1951, he was 72 years old.
Mr. Hilton was an owner/operator and owned his own trucking business for over 40 years. The family remembers him as a hard worker, working 7 days a week most of the year. Mr. Hilton was known as
Bojangles to his fellow truck drivers. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing with family and friends in the Gulf of Mexico, boating on the St. Marks and Wakulla rivers, picnicking with his soulmate Lisa whom he loved, working in the yard and antique shopping. He was an avid reader and had many favorite authors. He will be remembered by family and friends as being honest, pleasant, humorous, kind, giving and very meticulous with his appearance. His mannerism to others was always respectful. His faith was strong, and he was proud to tell anyone “I pray over my boys everyday.” During his last days, his sister Rita was his main caregiver as other family and friends assisted.
Mr. Hilton was preceded in death by his father, Robert Hilton, his mother Mary Kate Lindsey Hilton, six brothers, Mike, Randy, Tim, Roger, Buddy and Bill.
Surviving members are sons Brandon Hilton of Funston, and Lee Taylor of Moultrie; sisters Winona Hilton of Moultrie, Rita Hilton of Moultrie, Elaine Hilton (Darron) of Doerun; his former wife and mother of his children, Gail Littleton of Moultrie; sister in law, Lisa Hilton of Moultrie; his soulmate Lisa Phillips of Moultrie; and his God child Ellie whom he loved and adored; 15 nieces and nephews; and 16 great nieces and nephews.
The Hilton family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Richard Edwards for the beautiful prayer and the hymns he sang, “Amazing Grace” and “How Great Thou Art,” and to James Williams for the special prayer for David and the Hilton family during David’s last hours.

Troy Ivey O'Hearn, Sr.
MOULTRIE GA – Troy Ivey O’Hearn, Sr., 83, of Moultrie passed away Monday, December 11, 2023, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Ricky McLaughlin officiating. The service will conclude in the Chapel. Interment will be
in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 PM Thursday
at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Casketbearers will be Kevin Johnson, Jeremy Johnson, Landon
Norman, Luke Norman, Ethan Segers, and Dylan Segers. Born August 9, 1940, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late Willie Franklin O’Hearn, Sr. and Lila Frances Brooks O’Hearn. Mr. Troy was a retired truck driver for Wells Alumi- num and was a member of Moultrie Church of God. He loved the Lord, his family and enjoyed working in his yard. Mr. Troy
enjoyed camping and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first
wife, Betty Ann Glass O’Hearn; sister, Opal Hollaway; brothers, Willie Franklin O’Hearn, Jr., Doc O’Hearn, and Hugh Don O’Hearn.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Roberts O’Hearn of Moultrie; children, Mary Ann Flowers and Jimmy “Bo”, Troy O’Hearn, Jr. and Sally, Elton O’Hearn and Crystal, C.J. Payne and wife April all of Moultrie, GA, Rex Monday of Vancouver, WA; grandchildren, Melissa Johnson and husband David, Jason Flowers and wife Allie, Kimberly Norman and fiancé Robert Taylor, Erika Saunders and husband Josh, and Alanna McCook and husband Justin, Dylan Segers, Ethan Segers; great-grand- children, Jeremy Johnson and wife Maria, Kevin Johnson, Landon Norman, Luke Norman, Isaiah Saunders, Calleigh McCook, Everdene Flowers; great-great-grandchildren, Parker Johnson, Melanie Johnson.
