JOSHUA 4:23-24
For the LORD your God dried up the waters of the Jordan for you until you passed over, as the LORD your God did to the Red Sea, which he dried up for us until we passed over, so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the hand of the LORD is mighty, that you may fear the LORD your God forever.

RADICAL LIVING By Abigail Wakefield
Do you awaken each morning with joy in your spirit, or do you have to men- tally gird yourself for the daily battle before ever opening your eyes? “The joy of the Lord is our strength.” Strength comes from enjoy-
of those who haven’t ob- tained personal relationship with God, but their lack is their choice. He has made Himself available to all of us equally. There is no lack of desire on God’s part. He de- sired communion so much that He gave Jesus as a sac- rifice to die for us to be rec- onciled to Him. He needed a man to live in purity and holi- ness without sin in order to show us Himself, and Jesus was that man. Even in that event, the Bible says God was “in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself.”
It cost Him everything to offer us everything. And the Bible says “Having given us Jesus, how much more would He not give us ALL things” pertaining to life and godliness? The provision has been established by Jesus’ crucifixion and resur- rection. All we have to do is enter in to that provision by way of faith. Faith “comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Once we have heard and understand the way to Him, we are respon- sible before Him. There are some who have never heard, but God will place someone or some thing in front of them to make the way plain. For some, it may be this very article.
If that is the case for you today, let me assure you that Jesus loves you individually
and He sees your chal- lenges, your pain, your hopes and joys and desires. He is ready to meet with you if you are prepared to meet with Him. He is not asking you to clean up your act if you are struggling in a beset- ting sin. He is asking you to trust Him to do the work in you as you trust Him with

ing fellowship with the Lord. As a matter of fact, He says “In My presence is fullness of joy.” When we find ourselves in an intimate encounter with Him, we are overcome with the joy produced as a result. Often it will cling to us for days. When Moses com- muned with God, he literally glowed. We often say “Your countenance is glowing” or “You are radiant” when speaking to a blushing bride or a new mother. Their joy is visible. Moses wore a veil after those encounters so that the people of Israel couldn’t see the vanishing as the glory of God subsided. I’m sure there would have been someone in the camp who would have said that God’s favor or God’s pres- ence was no longer with Moses, had they seen the fading. Naysayers are often those who have never had a personal encounter. Jeal- ousy and envy are some- times bound up in the hearts
